As long as there in good shape, my car has pretty low miles on it so i just reused the stock ones, so far no problems.

The GM gaskets are the same as stock ones, just a new set of the same. My car has 91K on it, so I thought it was wise to spend the $25. It may be not be necessary, just playin it safe. I want to get a good seal on the first try.

For $25 dollars it doesn't hurt to buy new ones. Yes you can use the old ones, but be careful taking the old manifolds off. My stock gasket fell apart when taking off the old manifold.

Thanks. Very happy with the sound. Its a much louder in person than the video. The power increase is a big difference.

Hey SS-Power. I got the same headers and Y after reading your thread, and put them in this weekend. Install was a greuling 14 hours with a buddy helping, but after that the sound with my Magnaflow cat-back is SWEET. It is subdued at idle, but at WOT it is a whole new beast. Noticable power increase too. Since we have a similar setup I'll post up dyno #s next week after I get the tune.

I also got some white smoke after starting it up, and a bad smell from the exhaust. I think it is residue from WD-40, shipping materials, etc. The smoke cleared up after 30 min driving.
