    jack stands

This is probably a stupid question but maybe not. Obviously you have to put these cars on stands to do much of anything, so where are you guys putting the jackstands. Unibody / F-body are a new animal for me as my other vehicle is a big diesel truck. Rear sway bar seems to be in the way of my big stands and front end is just weird.

i think there are plastic jack points infront of the rear wheels and behiend the fronts, they are like 4 in by 6in rectangular, this is where the exhaust shop lifted my car from anyways

Lift it on the subframes, both front and rear. If you look under the car, maybe 8-10" from the outside of the car, you'll see thick rails.

Under the control arms for the front also works well.

As stated there are plenty of places to put jackstands under there-and it doesn't take long to spot them once you have it up in the air-starting in 98 I noticed they stopped putting the plastic "pads" under the cars that ppl were using for jacking points-just don't use the front fender lower mounting points as many have done mistakenly. It wont take the weight.
