Drive by wire LS1 conversion to Electric 90mm LS2
I am going to install a TPIS intake. I am trying to stay with the sleeper look. So I dont want to install a fast 90 mm or some other form of throttle body/intake that couldnt be easly mistaken for factory equipment. I am wanting to install an LS2 throttle body with this intake. I need some guidence as of how I should go from (drive by wire) to the electric throttle body. I am interested in any tips or links you may have on the subject. This is the intake I plan on going with. This is all going on an 04 gto. Thanks for any help.

Your link takes me to a page with No items.................
If you want to convert your car I would start hitting the junk yards for the pedal assembly because it has a sensor/switch on the gas pedal.
There is a yard around the Cleveland area that specializes in Goats.
Are you pretty good with wiring? If not I would get all the parts and pay someone to wire it.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

I have taken a few of the FAST intakes and ground there name off and painted them black. You would have to be very knowledgeable to notice. Just seems for that much money pointless not to go with the FAST.

This is true but you get a $500 refund when they recieve your factory ls6 intake,(the one the 04 gto is fitted with.) Making it only $350 out of pocket and if you look at the dyno number they are producing vs. a fast 90/90 setup its not that bad of a deal. Also I am still left haning when it comes to the throttle body itself. It is very easy to tell the difference between a fast, nick williams ect ect... vs a ls1 or ls2 throttle body. This is why I am wanting to go with the 90 mm ls2 throttle body and I will just put my ls1 sticker on it and nobody will know the difference. I can get the ported ls2 for around $150 or less and the intake for about $350 so thats $500 out of pocket vs the cost of a fast 90/90 set up that will run over a grand. Of course there will still be the cost of the electic conversion, hopefully its not much more that a little wiring and the different gas peddle. Thats why I need a link or some info on how to change this little mess over to an electric throttle body. Thank for the help.
