Cam Question

224/224 .563/.563 114lsa is this a good cam for a daily driver?? don't know much about cams and such... and how much power and the power band am i looking at??

from the looks of the specs, you are looking at the TR 224 cam...great choice for a DD...

what is it exactly that you are wanting to know...?

im running a 224 .581 @112lsa, some bolt ons, M6, and im putting down 437/404...

ya i am getting a LS6 and Headers was thinking about doing a cam... what kind of times would i get with those?? i am talking about the quarter

with what you are going to get i wouldnt go with a cam. the same dollar amount you could put gets in your car and turn better times...

im not a fan of the Ls6 since i had one on my car H/C. i swapped to a FAST 90/90 and gained 35rwhp/10rwtq OVER the Ls6 intake...

as for times to many varibles to take into account.if you can drive, mid to more likely high 12's, average, low 13's...

i gained 25rwhp/14rwtq from my 224. this was with stock exhaust and Ls1 intake. after headers and retune i was 376/366 to the pavement...

if you have an auto i would recommend a stall over a cam...

with a 224 cam, long tubes, ls6 manifold and tuning, you can very well shave a second off your current times.
