Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
Looking at shocks
I love the current stance of my car.
Sadly, the ride sucks.
Springs are ProKit.
Shocks are currently stock DeCarbons....
Looking at Koni SA's.
I do drag race, but I drive on the street much more than I race.
So, looking for decent bite at the strip but a better ride on the street.
Sam Strano??
Others?
Advice please!

triple-black- 2000 CamaroSS convertible
Koni SAs are great choice.
Eugenio_SS
almost stock triple-black 2000 SS convertible with 17x11s on all 4 w/ 315s at the track or on the street with 18x10.5s on all 4 w/ 315s: (1), (2)

Bilstien or Koni seems to be the way to go.

Bilstiens got QA issues or something, I'm going Koni.

I would talk to Sam Strano, he can point you in the best direction for what you want and need.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
Honestly Curt, you should get the Koni DA's for the sheer fact that you want it to be a track monster and street bruiser. A lot of people shave their times with better shock set ups.
Revalved Bilstiens are another option, but you are then stuck with only one setting.

Got em (Qa1s) on mine and I only race like twice a year. All those pics of your car Luos and none with the front wheels in the air. lol. I firmed up the fronts a bit and it's a lil better. They sure are purdy too.

Alright....
Sam??? Where are ya??
QA1's or Koni's with the ProKit?
More of a street car, but I do like it to do well at the strip.
LOVE the stance it has now. ProKit and the stock shocks.

Your gonna have to call Strano. I tried talking to him via internet, he told me to call him b/c he just can't tell you what to do, you'll have to talk with him for a bit, but he's really helpful. I say if your on the street most of the time, koni's are your best shot.

Qa1s won't change the stance. Rear springs set the height in back, that won't change. Front ride height is adjustable. I already know what Sam will say. He's not a fan of Hals. Everyone I know literally has QA1s or Strange shocks and !front sway bar.

I drove a buddy's car with some QA1's on it on the street and I hated the way it drove. I don't remember what else he had done to the car, but I won't drive his car again.
