1,000,000 mile Chevy Truck
with the original motor and never overhauled but has had several transmissions. And surprisingly several gas tanks. hmm

wow 1 million is a ton!! I work with a guy that has an '83 monte carlo. Similar story. 600K miles original engine and never overhauled, but 3 transmissions. Which still isn't bad -200k on each trans.

prolly just a bunch of bs rumor but I heard that if you document 1mill miles on a chevy truck that gm would trade you a new truck for it. I have a friend who has 1.3 mill on an old 3/4 ton with an original granny 4 and one crate motor, but he mainly runs it on propane.

not so far from the truth, dad has a 92 suburban 1500 2wd with close, has to be about 500 000Km on it now, nothing but a tranny, a rad, some ac lines for the rear, too many ABS units to count (long story) and three sets of gears. Motor has never been opened not even for a water pump.

Man that is awesome. I have 253000 on mine and thought that was a lot. And they say imports are better than Made in the USA. Mine is still running strong.
