What all is needed to run a tr224 Cam?
Im in the process of looking at cams. i wanted to know what retainers and springs are needed to run a tr224+114lsa on a 2000 A4 WS6 also what elese is needed. My Current Mods are Lid,Catback,Cutout,Free Mods, and a Diablo Predator Custom tune.

Needed: Stainless Steel retainers, seats, dual springs (.650 lift), 7.4" hardend pushrods...
recommened: Ls6 Oil Pump, Ls2 Timing Chain
to be honest though, getting a stall should be what you do over a cam...
call TR and they will tell you exactly what you will need, then order it from them...

Comp 918 springs will work well too and a little easier on the wallet LOL

You will need ALL the bolt ons to make full use of that cam. A full intake and exhaust setup is a must. You should get... headers, LS6 intake and a p/p TB or a fast 90/90 and subframes. You might want to work on the suspension so you could put that power down on the pavement. Last but not least, that rear end aint gonna last long with that kinda power if u race and track the car a lot, so i would suggest looking for a moser 12 bolt or 9" with 4.11's
