Kill Story:

Sooo I was taking the TA out for a cruise after washing it and as im coming up to a light an 80's to early 90's firebird pulls up next to me..(cant tell if its a 305 or 350. We both look at each others cars...look up at each other an nodd. The light turns green..were off..by second im already 1.5 cars ahed...then I shut down because of traffic ahed.

Death Story:

I pass by this BUILT 5.0 with 4 guys in the car..think nothing of it..then by buddy is coming home and sees him and tells me about him..im like "okay cool". Then I run around the block and haul ass to catch up with them because he says hes going to race them. I get there and im like "you racing my buddy?." hes like "no im racing you"..lol...im like okay.

So the light turns green..we agree to go from a 20 (which sucks)..3 honks...bam..he gets a door right off the bat...we stay that way all the way up to about 120 before we shutdown. I lost by a door (my front bumper to his door). I know he had 4 guys in the car..but I also thought it was funny that I was doing this good up against a "built" 5.0

Do you have any idea what all waws done to the 5.0? and why does a 20mph roll suck? Just leave it in first and go.

i think 20s suck because the car is not enough in its power band. its more around 3200...i like 40s better because the car is more around 4200..

not sure what all was done to the 5.0..but from what Ive heard it had a built motor. It was really nice..nice paint job..nice wheels...nice interior..im just suprised he didnt walk me more

Well he did have 3 other pple in the car weighting down the car but still nice death. Personally I like 20 rolls, even tho its only at about 3200 my LT1 is pretty torquey and I tend to fishtail from that and its even worst for me in the 40 roll

i think 30 is the best spot when in 1st gear

Weight effects performance incredibly...specially if you take acount...the probable 600lbs of excess weight he was carrying...

that could've easilly been murder on his behalf...

Next time race him with no one in the car...and bring some Vaseline for the raping that's about to occur...
