What's the 1 car you let get away?
Mine would have to be my old '93 Mustang GT that I sold in March of 2006. I made $ on the car so it wasn't all bad, but I should have kept her. Exterior was a 9 out of 10 & interior looked like she just rolled off the showroom floor. She had 84k miles on her when I bought her in December of 2004. I put a whopping 1k miles on her during the time I owned her. So much fun to drive she was & pretty to look at it. I couldn't go anywhere without people coming up to me to talk about her.
I actually tried to buy her back when the kid I sold her to put her up for sale, but he wanted $12k after he removed some stuff I put on her & put miles on her. I sold the car to him for $9,300!

Ready for a sob story?
when I was about 11 or 12 around '85 I saw the movie Two Lane Blacktop on cable, and always being a "Pontiac Fan" as a child, I saw the '70 GTO Judge in the movie and thought (and still think) that the 1970 Pontiac GTO is the most beautiful car ever made.
In 1998 I was finally able to buy one, I drove 600 miles from Colorado Springs to Kansas City to buy the perfect one and drove it back, pulled the entire drive train and rebuilt it, fixed the interior, suspension all in my garage etc...pretty much restored it.
In 2002 I bought the WS6, and soon after went through a nasty divorce where I had to file a bankruptcy, I could only manage to keep 1 car, so the logical choice was the WS6 for reliabilty/gas mileage and all that. so I had to let the GTO go...I was in such a bad place at the time, eating spaghetti and top ramen to try and save money to keep both but I couldn't. I don't know where she is now...and I don't like to think about it. I loved that car, it was my dream car.........hopefully I'll have another one some day

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
I've had several that I shouldn't have let get away but it's very true that everything is for sale for the right $$$$. In my case it was a Mustang also. 1968 GT fastback, 390/4 speed 4.11 9". Car was loaded: PS, PDB, Tilt, tach, rallye pack, overhead console, style steel wheels, locking GT gas cap and the weirdest thing: bench seat Pony interior. I had this car back in the early 80's and I've never seen another like it. I took it to Pomona and some guy offered way more than I thought it was worth. This was right befor the musclecar boom. I still kick myself in the ass every time I see a 67/8 fastback.
