Clutch pedal sticks
I have a strange issue with my car. It has been this way since I got it (figure when I fry the clutch I would fix it) but I'm gonna ask anyway. When I'm drivin, the clutch pedal will stick at the mid point in it's range of travel. I have to pull it back up with my toe sometimes. If I pump it, it comes right back to life, then after about 5 mins, it will do it again. I figure it's got osmething to do with hydraulic pressure, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had htis kind of issue, and if it might mean the clutch slave cylinder is going, or if I need to flush and bleed for air in the lines. Any ideas?

There is a write up on this in this section. I had the same problem. First I flushed the fluid and bled the system that didn't help much. Then I bougth a new GM master cylinder and did the drill mod. That solved the problem.

Same Fix
I had the same problem and the new Clutch Master Cyl. took care of the problem. In particular the earlier models were problematic and GM went to a new part number in 2001.
