At least that's what I was reading.. and that stage II or 2.5 or good for the ls1's?
I run the stage 3's on my 408 and ran them on my previous 383 but Texas Speed Performance said they would give me way to much air flow for stock cubes unless I ran a way radical camshaft...

you need to state that the reason you are using Stage III heads are because you are a stoked out larger than 346 displacement. by not you almost come off as telling him to look into/order Stage III heads for a stock cubed Ls1 which would hurt him since he doesnt have the displacement you do...

to the OP, you need to look into Stage II Ls6 heads (59cc) to bump up your C/R...get 2.02"int/1.57"ext...

im running the Stage II Ls6 "Style" heads (59cc) - 2.02/1.57", Comp 224, FAST 90, LT's/TD's and im putting down 437/404...(not retuned for the TD's)...

this is without an U/D Pulley, EWP, and im still running stock injectors. prior to swapping out exhaust systems (from SLP LM cat-back to TSP TD's), my old numbers were 444/395...

the patriots heads i saw gains of 33+rwhp and 22+rwtq after they went on...

    2013 ZL1: °°590rwhp/576rwtq°°

If your going to keep your car N/A you should go with the 5.3 to bump up the compression. If your also going to run a healthy cam you benifit from the increased compression, a friend might is running a MS4 and 5.3 heads with bigger valves that flow the same as the LS6 ported, making 437 rwhp...check out www.texas-speed.com ....they can help you out

I would call whoever you are buying the heads from and tell them this is what camshaft I have and this is what internal mods i have and this is my setup and will 225cc heads flow to much air to my engine or will i be fine? because that is alot more flow than the stock LS1 heads....
