Virginia here. We get maybe 2 or 3 light snows a year, usually not sticking to roads. Still, it can be low 30's, high 20's a lot and my 03 Grand Am GT is MUCH faster with that cold air coming in. I can't imagine how much of a difference there is with a T/A.

I don't know how much longer I can stand it... I still have to wait another 2.5 months or so until the snow melts and the salts off the streets before I can drive her again.
Bringing the total to about 6 months total time where I haven't driven her. Think about that when you're crying to me... I've gone through 4 months so far!

Amen Brotha!!!!
lol... only prob in Miami is the rain... when it rains it floods!!! sucks.
being a car guy... and having to have my baby in the garage for 5-6 months out of the year would kill me!!! I'm still hoping I don't have to move near D.C. because of my line of work... I enjoy driving whenever, wherever and whatever.

black- 2002 Trans Am
Keeps the mileage down, if that's a concern to you.
I've also been motorcycling for a number of years, so I'm used to having a seasonal vehicle.
But.... you know it's in your blood when spring is near and you can't wait for the salt to be washed off the roads.....
And...... on nice days during the winter, every month or so, I'll start it up and take it up and down the driveway just to get my fix.........Last edited by johnb; 01-23-2008 at 02:22 AM.

i look at winter this way:
A) i don't put as many miles on the car when it sits all winter long
B) it feels almost like a new car when can get in and drive it in the spring
