Cranberry- 1995 Chevy Camaro Z28
Gave a GT 4 seconds and I still won!
To start off I have a stock 1995 Z28 minus a K&N intake and he had a black '04 GT Convertible. I was at a two-lane stop light in South Hadley, MA. My friends car was at the front and I'm behind him. This mustang pulls up next to my friend and starts revvving the engine. When the light changes he gives a quick and gay chirp and floors it. I waited for my friends to move, changed lanes, floored it and caought up to him and passed him. Now don't say he gave up because his engine was still accelerating and I had to quickly slow down because there was a speed trap ahead that I knew about, HE DIDN'T! He passed me doing about 80 mph in a 35, HAHAHAHA!!!!! This worked out good for me though, the two girls in the back seat loved the vibration... Thats all she wrote.

Black- 1994 Z28 SOLD 2000 GT
I call it!
I will be in Rockland, MA on the 31st.
EDIT: I have pulleys 5-8hp, Loudmouth exhaust 5hp, x-pipe 10hp, upper intake 6hp, and 4.30s. That should make my car somewhere between 230-240rwhp. Care to dance?Last edited by zaddiction27; 01-21-2008 at 05:44 PM.

Um.... Yeah... GT's may not be all that fast, but a 4 second head start? That is a bit hard to believe.
Oh and it would have to be a high 8 second stock LT1 to do that with 4 people in the car, make up 4 seconds on someone, and the Fords happen to perform better in the top end than the bottom end where as the GM's perform better in the bottom end and start falling off(stock that is). Hurray for the factory freak....

Good kill I just think you got your time off. With your adreneline pumping its easy to lose track of time. It would have been a better story if you would have just said that you let a mustang get a small head start and then caught up with him and easily passed him.

Stock for stock, they generally are better up top than GM cars, and against an LT1 they are better. Against an LS1, not so much. Against a gen 1 350, we get the hole, but they tend to start comin up and usually are closer to catching us near the finish line than at the 60, 1/8th or 1000(again assuming a stock motor, not one that's been built up, which is way easier and cheaper than the Ford).
I don't doubt that he beat the GT. The timing is what seems way off.

Thank you! Someone who isn't giving me shit being off on timing cause of adrenaline. Everyone is missing the point, I KILLED A MUSTANG GT regardless of the time it took.

well being a Vert...and probably Auto... if not a bad driver... anything is posible never count such things out...
best example... my one and only vid.... granted 04 GTs have 260hp 302tq... which is more then a 94 5.0L... but the Vert is much heavier
