    Defined by the encyclopedia..

"Rat Rod" is a style of Hot Rod or Custom car that, in most cases, imitates (or exaggerates) the early hot rods of the 40s and 50s. It is not to be confused with the somewhat closely related "Traditional" Hot Rod, which is an accurate re-creation or period-correct restoration of a Hot Rod from the same era.

Most Rat Rods appear "unfinished" (whether they actually are or are not), with just the bare essentials to be driven.

The Rat Rod is the visualization of the idea of function over form. Rat Rods are meant to be driven, not shown off. Sometimes the customization will include using spare parts, or parts from another car altogether.

That car is bad looking! I wouldnt mind having one of those- I would get a nice gloss black paint job though and some weld pro stars with some wide ass MTs on the back and some 3.5 inch on the front.

On my 84 Z28 H.O. I had Goodyear Eagles with raised white lettering-looked really good. I dont think I would run RWL tires on my 98 z though.

I am wondering how the engine will work in it since the engine went in the back originally. Looks like you have the stuff to make it work though.
