92 CAMARO bigger tires on that back soon should i put SIDE PIPES ON IT
see i've got this 92 camaro
i'm putting a summit scoop ya know the one with the 3 red butterflys flapping coming out through the hood, cutting a hole in my stock gray hood shown in the pic, i'm keeping 245 tires on the front but putting 265 BF Goodrick radial T/A's raised white litters on the back so that'll raise the car up a few inches, to top off the back on this nice peice of work lol i'm going to put a 5 inch "stock" spoiler on the back. My question i'm putting on the table is should i turn my non true dual exhaust system into a true dual side pipe system kinda of like but better looking than or should i just leave it alone

No offense bro, but this really isn't the appropriate forum for questions like this. We're all f-body guys here, but the focus of this forum is LS1 Camaros. Have you checked out ThirdGen.org?

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
His questions are perfectly appropriate for this forum, its not just an LSx based forum but this is for Camaro's of all generations.
Very well put, and anyone else that acts like childish in this thread will start receiving infractions from me.

Depending on what "theme" you're working with...It seems that you got a lot going on as far as side-pipes, spoilers, not-so-wide rear tires. So if I were you, I would narrow it down to a single theme. What you've mentioned as your project for one 3rd gen camaro isn't my cup of tea per se, but like you mentioned, to each his own. The closest thing I could find on the web to match what you have mentioned is this:Attachment 16391I like it, but it has a lot under the hood to justify the ornate exterior (this is what I mean by sticking with a theme). So if you are to put on a hood scoop, I would have the HP to back it up. Putting on 265s with a hood scoop and side-pipes just doesn't hold any integrity in my opinion. I know this probably doesn't make sense, but maybe you can post up pics of an example of what type of theme you're going for. This will enable folks to chime in with constructive criticism, instead of clowning your project.

i say do what u think is cool. thats what makes all cars diff. but my opinion,i wouldnt do side exhaust. look around and see if u can find some pics of how it looks and see what u think. i hate it when someone asks a question on here and others just feel they have to be assholes.

it would look cool with exh tips coming out either side in front of the rear tire, but i personally wouldn't do side pipes... more of a c2/c3 corvette thing imo

Nothing wrong with sidepipes if it's done tastefully. It was popular to put sidepipes on just about anything in the 70's.
Anyone remember the full size vans with fancy paint and side pipes from the 70's?????
Only the older generation crowd will understand what you are trying to accomplish with the car,,,don't worry. On the other hand I (as an old fart) don't understand what these kids are doing to these 4th gens with blacked out wheels and lights, billet grilles, wigged out looking headlights, slamming them 2 inches from the ground,,,blah blah blah,,,,I guess it's the thing to do now,,,,just as what you are doing was the thing to do in the 60's and 70's,,,,,,to each there own.
As long as you like it and are having fun,,,,then enjoy!
