How big are you?
Everyone and their sister thinks, no, believes that at some point, I juiced. Truth be told, I drank a shitload of protein shakes.
Theres a reason why they call protein "building blocks" and getting them all from food would be fucking hard and REALLY expensive. Plus, your tongue will be PISSED.
Chicken, tuna, beef, 5 times a day?! And how portions go, youll need around 2 servings of some sort of meat for every meal. Then you calculate carbs & fat in and youre at a caloric surplus that will most likely result in a fat belly and a skinny wallet.

Protein powder, or as you call it "shit," is for those of us who realize its easier, more efficient, and cheaper than getting the same amount of protein from food sources. I'd like to see your diet, to see where you're getting all your protein from, that is... if you're getting enough in the first place.

Stop protein and keep working out or stop both? Theres been times where I stopped taking protein shakes so much... I stopped working out due to traveling alot for work ect. I hardly lost any muscle at all. When I'm training hard I'm around 150 pounds, 5'11. Its been about 2 months since I've hit the weights hard and I'm around 160

I consume inbetween 100-150 grams of protein naturally. So shake or not I have enough to maintain my body

Contrary to popular belief, I hardly have ever consumed 1 gram of protein per lb of BW and I still grew.
Hmm...maybe this was easier when I weighed 143lbs though.

i know what he is getting at and its stupid to think that way. Why work out in the first place, cause if you stop working out your going to shrik to your old self. Of course you have to keep doing things to keep what you got

If you always do what youve always done, you will always get what you always got.

if you stop working out you will go back to the way your body was before you started working out, ive done it before, however when you stop taking protein shakes after your body has become accustomed(sc) to them you will loose a little mass and if you dont loose mass you will gain at a much slower rate, theres many different types of protein, just because your eating red meat doesnt mean your getting the TYPE of protein thats in your shakes

no where in my question does it say "stop working out" , my question is how does your body like it when you've been taking protein for a long time and then one day you stop, i guarentee it will be harder to build muscle naturally having stopped taking protein, because you body wont be used to it

You talk about protein as if it was something cooked up in a laboratory that just mildly increases muscle growth and a pharmaceutical company just wants to make a buck off it.
Protein is required for muscle growth. If you don't eat any protein at all, you muscles won't grow, but further than that, It's also a required part of everyones diet, a protein deficiency is bad for your health.
The more muscle mass you have, the more protein you have to consume to maintain it. So obviously "once you stop taking it" your muscles will start to deteriorate because nothing is feeding them.
