Do you want a long/trans mounted one or a short/chassis mounted one? I like the Spohn torque arms. Got a trans mounted one sitting on my floor waiting to go on right now.
http://www.spohn.net/?action=shop&pcid=1121 If you do get one I recommend getting the longer bolts they sell for $20.00. Stock bolts won't fully engage the threads much.Last edited by INMY01TA; 01-06-2008 at 08:38 PM.

Blue- 2002 Z28 Camaro M6
Without looking around and doing research I lean towards UMI's products, but I am interested in keeping able to do more then just a straight line.

look into chassis mounted t/q..it helps take flex and pressure off of the transmission.

Does the Spohn Trans mount torque arm have the upgrade option to include a driveshaft loop ? Can't find it on their site.

Bright Red- 2000 Pontiac Trans Am WS6
I just got done with removing my stock torque arm, replacing lower control arms and swapping in a Spohn double adjustable panhard bar. Like a dummy I left my new Spohn chassis mount torque arm at work Saturday, so that won't go in until tomorrow.
Anyway, I was pretty amazed to see that the transmission mounted bracket that holds the front stock torque arm bushing in was actually bent upwards and a good bit crooked. I've only drag raced the car about 20 times and it's an automatic car FWIW. I do (or did) pull the front wheel on every launch, but it's only a mid 11 second car. Something to think about for anyone running a stick and sticky tires since they tend to be more violent on launch.2002 Silverado Z71 ECSB HPTuners tuned by yours truly

You can get a long of short T/A that is tunnel mounted.
For a long tunnel mounted T/A, you will need the relocation brace that mounts to the body and it is specific for A4 or M6. you can use the stock T/A or go aftermarket.
A short T/A comes with the the tunnel brace and mounts further back.

Sebring Silver- 2000 Z28 M6
Why not get a t/a that mounts to the trans and get a new trans crossmember that relocates the mount to the crossmember instead of the trans.

Also I have seen allot of threads over the years that the tunnel bolt holes get elongated as they are not designed to handle the power.
So keep an eye on yours Luos as you do not want the TA to destroy your underside of your car.
