Atleast a 42" , either and LG or Panasonic. I have a 42" panny and love it but hate my crappy maxent 50". Would love to have a redo on that purchase.

How big is the room its going in. I put my 50" in the bedroom and have the 42" in the living room. My master is huge. That and I wanted my better looking tv where I watch all the time. When picking a tv look at the sd quality(non hd channels). Most places show the best quality to show the tv at its best. But there is a limited number of hd channels at the moment. Thats why I hate the maxent. Hd picture is great but normal channels just plain out suck. With the panny the tv looks good on either channel.

My room is just a little bigger. Had a 37" and took it back for a 42" and now actaully like the 50" in there. Guess it depends on what you like and how much you want to spend. Have you checked out avsforum.com? Great place for info, ask questions as well to find great places to buy.
