a paint container flew out of a truck and paint is all over my car

FYI........took me 5 miles to get him pulled over, he wanted to go switch trucks so it would go on his insurnace, one of his buddies laughed and said if they did the other side in white it would match, the workers that put the paint containers in the back of the truck could have cared less about my car, was not only paint damage my front end was out of line, had to wait almost 2 hours all together for the cops to come and do their thing, wasted my entire evening. WAS NOT ABOUT TO TAKE A STRANGERS WORD THAT IT WAS JUST LATEX PAINT. I got screwed 1 time on a deal sorta like this. So I could care less he was right. Not my fault his idiot workers put something like that in the bed that flew out and almost caused a huge wreck. I covered my bases and won the game

I dont blame you one bit brotha. I wouldnt have taken my car to a carwash either-I would have done exactly what you did. They DESERVED what they got and more. I cannot believe they were cracking jokes about it when they could have caused you to wreck and get injured plus the fact that they had no clue if the paint would even come off. I would have went off if it was my car-there really is no excuse for paint to fly out of a truck-just plain carelessness and a "I dont give a damn attitude" by the workers. I am glad you got paid and I wish it was even more.

found some spider cracks in the paint this past weekend where the paint container hit the right front of my car. I am calling the insurance company tomorrow to see about a supplement added to the claim

i called the adjustor didnt get a call back. I am calling the claims center here in a little bit..........its only spider cracks in the paint right now but i am sure over time it will get worse

yeah my z/28 came with some on the front and rear bumper-but for the price it was still a deal.

talked with insurance adjustor he is going to pay for the nose to be painted but wouldnt go for replacing a tire. said he would have to be able to see the damage...........when I got the front end alighned they said it was perfect. The car sometimes pulls to the left. he said it must have damaged the belts in the tire

3M adhesive remover or some PPG adhesive/wax remover will take that shit right off.... less than $10 each...
