My buddies Srt-4 vs my Stepdad(turbo 06 GT)

My stepdad said he was cruising down 44(4 lane road) and said a red srt-4 came onside him at about 40 and kept making his BOV engage at him. He said when the guy got clear traffic in front him he nailed it. So my stepdad dropped in it 4th(he said he should have dropped it in 3rd) and passes him up pretty fast and had him by several cars to 100 but he said he doesnt know if he let off or anything. I know the Srt-4 and he doesnt have much done to his car....just a wastegate, intake and full exhaust. I talked to the guy and he said my stepdad passed him like he was sitting still.

I can get pics prolly tomorrow. But my stepdad isnt supposed to be leagaly driving(he had a seizure) yet and my mom didnt know about his little joy ride yesterday. So the vid may have to wait. But ill get some pics tomorrow is the rain holds off....ill prolly get both our cars in them...and some under hood pics and ill take pics of the wastegate and stuff under the front of the car....it looks wicked if you kneel down b/c you can see the exhaust pipes and such

Well when they tried to dyno it the clutch was slipping bad and they got 485WHP, but they were only able to get up to 5400 RPMs. But with the new clutch in it, it should put down 525+. But the tune crapped on him and right now its running REALLY rich(10.2-10.4@redline) So we dont know what it will put down right now. But with the new clutch and tuned right 525+

The only other mods are FRPP 4.11s, LCAs, and Pro-5.0 shifter. Stock block is good for around 500.....but if it blows he'll just by a built block he said..lol....must be nice

Those hellion kits are nice. I keep trying to get my little bro tho buy one for his '07. He's playing around with nitrous right now. When the motor goes you can put a short block that is basically identical to the 03'-'04 cobras and turn up the wick...

My stepdad got his for $4300...but he got it from a "mustang tuner shop" that "said" it was brand new....when it came in i smelled fuel on the injectors, the exhaust pipes had black soot on them and the wastegate was on BACKWARDS!! Meaning that it was used and we think they may have put it on somones car and blew it up b/c the wastegate was backwards giving it as much boost as the turbo could churn(over 30PSI) and blew up someones car. Good thing i looked at it cause he would have blown his too....but im sure the guys that installed it would have looked. (JMS in Biloxi)

Well as for me I have a stock LS1 A4, a good friend has a SRT4 with a Mopar stage 3 and other junk... I get him by 7-8 cars, from a stop, 30 mph roll, 45 mph, 60 mph, all day???
