John Middelstadt is a 20 yr old marine, who’s Vehicle hit an IED while in Iraq, and Injured three Marines, he was one of them, and killed one Marine in his vehicle. He is currently assigned to Camp Pendleton,
California at the Wounded Warriors Barracks. He is a resident of Round Rock, Texas, a suburb of Austin, and will be returning on or about 7 December 2007.
I am requesting a sound system and install of wires we will pull the interior and door panels for any and all work and reinstall it to minimize man hours
There will be a story broadcast on FOX 7 News and we welcome a member from Custom Sounds Audio to express their appreciation directly to this young American hero who is, and was, willing to give the greatest sacrifice to this Nation.
At this point we have accomplished the following:
1. All body Parts were donated by Austin f body.org
2. Rebar body and frame repair
3. Need for speed performance shop is installing a custom exhaust system.
4. Custom stereo (hopefully)

Good deal. The local 1st gen F-body club here in Phoenix is doing the same thing with a 68 Camaro for a local wounded Vet. Read more here: http://www.camaros.net/veteran/

Yep, what is even crazier is I'm a Army Guy helping a Marine. we are all brothers. man I am so close. I just need to raise some more bucks for the Audio. I've set up over $2400 worth of equipment for $655. I only have two more days until the give back day. We have had exactly 16 days to turn this thing around. So it's been stressful to say the least but worth every minute.

Well I'm still trying to raise money. I only have 48 hrs left. I'm short roughly $260 and some change. Not including the audio. So if anyone can find it in them to donate you can paypal and the mom will be sending thank you cards to all who has donated.
We are going to gastonia in January to visit NC again.

Being former Army, I have nothing but graditude for his service to the country. I wish I could help but I am currently unemployed. It is a great/awesome thing you are doing for him. Hope his life returns to normal and thankfully he is alright.

Shit I wish someone would have done something like this for me, when they were drilling a hole in my skull to relieve the pressure.
