Ive had both magnaflow and corsa which is on the current 98z i have now. My opinion is I hate magnaflow, I had a 2000 a4 and put magnaflow on it and i was there during the whole install. When they started the car inside the shop i couldnt even hear it, I was like wtf did i pay $500 for. I ended up just having the shop swap for a flowmaster muffler and it changed everything. Then i have recently gotten this car with corsa and by farrrrrrr the best sounding cat back i have had, and heard but...this exhaust was already installed when i bought the car. Personally i probly wouldnt spend so much money on a cat back and save and then buy LTs ORY and cutouts.

The Magnaflow is tame at idle and light throttle.

Did you ever get on it?? Sounds great.

corsa sounds great on stock exhaust manifolds, but raspy with LTs. if your going to go cat-back, i'd spend the $ on GMMG

Most catbacks will be a bit raspy (some more than others) with longtubes.
The rasp is created by the y-pipe collector.

Good friend of mine has a GMMG on his car with QTP longtubes. He is seriously considering selling the GMMG because of the rasp.

I would only get Corsa Tips, they are the best looking on the market.

Forget the whole catback thing brother. Get Pacestter LT's and spend 250-300 bucks on an Xpipe With Dynomax bullets. Will outflow and out-sound ALL catbacks, period. And you will still be spending less than a Corsa.

Yeah I almost got those ones but will they stand the test of time ? My bet is they will start to turn that yellow color afer a few years and some weather but if thats what it takes get um. I mean $300 is cray just for exhaust tips but worth it in the long run.

Before I had heads and cam, I ran the LT's with Xpipe dumped, it sounded loud and fantastic. Always got compliments, plus its a TRUE dual set up. Now with the H/C it sounds even nastier.

Deepest, Throatiest system, Corsa definitely. Have tried Corsa, Borla, and SLP LM2. Got rid of Corsa, because it had a deep droan even in high gear, constantly, but definitely deep. If you can afford them, it is worth the money. A real quality system.
I regretted getting rid of mine for a good while.
