Oil filters
Now dont pile on mne here, i know this has been discussed probably a billion and 1 times but I cant seem to find out. My engine has a Mobile M1-113A oil filter and just in the name of more surface filtration ( I became super anal about oil filtration with my 04 6.0L ford powerstroke) I found the Mobile M1-206 for it. Well, apparently they discontinued the 206 for the 206A (why? who knows) anyway, the 206A does not fit my engine as the threads are a bit different (again, why?)
My question is this, is there a good replacement for the M1-206? you know, one that actually fits.

Wix is great, I have been running the Puraltor Boss Filter for almost a decade now. They have seemed to evolve with time and offer one of the best ones out there. Oil Filters change so much. Fram can be super popular right now, but we all know how junky they were for years. They constantly change. Reading up on bob the oil guy is always a good idea IMO. I run the Puralator Boss filter on my 5.7 Hemi Ram and It has close to 170k on it with using that filter from about 30k on so about 140kish with that filter. It has been excellent. I run it on everything except my Flex as it doesn?t play nice with any filter other than the motorcraft.
