Lc9 to replace lh6
So I have a 2008 avalanche donor truck with a Lc9 in it. My 2009 Silverado LH6 has the dod/afm delete with a cam, ls7 lifters, pushrods, valve springs. I thought a lifter or the cam failed recently getting a weird squeak at idle then around 2000 rpm it started to sound like metal on metal. I pulled the heads off expecting to find a damaged lifter and cam. All lifters look fine and cam looks fine from what I can see through lifter holes. Realizing that wasn?t the issue I?m stuck on what to check next. If it is bottom end I have a lc9 like I said above that I could put in with all of the goodies from the motor that is ?pooched?. Is there any reason I cannot swap the lh6 out with the lc9, or does anyone know what I should inspect next before swapping motors. TIA.
