Butt Dyno
Sarge has been preaching UOAs for a long time, and I have been listening to his sermons.
I will not pretend to be an expert now. However I have learned what works and what doesn't.
RP sucks: overpriced purple dyed crap that shears almost instantly.
Right now I am working to see if Castrol Edge can back up the hype they have been expounding. I will not say anything until I have the data to back up what I say.
My ass is too fat to be a butt dyno. At least I do not have my head up my ass.

Ive been using Valv Syn for many years now and it doesnt burn a drop of oil and has done well in even my high mileage LT's that i had in the past. Until i get actuall proof on Edge i will be using only Valv Syn.

Here's another oil question.
My junkyard engine has been sitting around for almost 20 years and I'm finally ready to start it up. (I'm schooled up on priming it)
I'd like to use something cheap AF for the initial start up.
I'd hate to pour in $80 worth of high quality fully synthetic just to do get it up to temp a few times and flush the system.
Will a cheap nasty mineral oil cause any issues?
Any suggestions
Cheers
