4L60E shifting too late
I put a 5.3 / 4L60E from a 2001 Yukon in my 86 Chevy C10. It's together and running. The trouble I'm having is it shifts too late. I hooked up my scanner and used a GPS app on my phone and took it for a ride. When my GPS says 60mph, my scanner says only 45mph. Is there an inexpensive way to correct this? I don't know if anyone has already done this, but does anyone make the reluctor wheels that trigger the VSS with more or less teeth on them? This would be an easy way to fool the computer. Just a thought, I could be wrong....
