Hatch speakers

Hi everyone I was wondering what size the speakers are in the hatch area of my 98 firebird (without the monsoon system). It looked as if it was a 6 x 9 but when I popped the panel off it looks as if theres two speakers thanks.

There is a 4" and a tweeter.

Don't bother, speakers back there are unnecessary

Really old thread, I know. And I'm sure the OP has long since resolved his issue. But just for clarity... contrary to what the OP claimed, if it has hatch area speakers then it is (or was) a Monsoon system. 97-02 f-body coupes had only two available audio systems - the base system with four speakers (doors and sail panels) and the Monsoon system (eight speakers in Camaro and ten speakers in Firebird).

The answer of 4" full range and .75" tweeter is correct for a Firebird Monsoon system. The Camaro Monsoon had only 4" full range there (no tweeter). The non-Monsoon system had nothing there - not even empty speaker grilles.
