I'd like some snow this winter. Which reminds me I need to either finish burning off last year's gas or drain the tank in my snow thrower

2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
Ended up shooting a doe just before dark last Sunday, that turned out to be a button buck, that got checked in as a doe (not sure about other states, but that's legal in OK if the horns are under a certain length, 2" if I remember right).

Poor guy had basically a hook growing into his head out of the base of his stub. I probably saved him from lobotomizing himself.

better for the population.
I have to wait till Nov 7th. TX opening day for gun.
Can't wait, I have a new stand, in a new place. SO far for the last 2 months trail cams have been showing several bucks, does and a shit ton of hogs. And corn feeder hasn't even been turned on yet. That's going to start this week.
But I fully expect them to f'ing ninja disappear on opening day sooooo.......

I had to re-dig all the holes from the previous fence posts, made them a little more deeper. Spend 3 hours pluming up the poles last night by myself. PITA to do without a 2nd set of hands.
Concrete goes in this afternoon, hopefully none of the poles shifted or were moved.
My dogs are like hurry the fuck up fat man, we want to go outside and play.

So my neighbor that was helping is down to .5 man power. Meaning he has a bad back and can't do much and his wife that was mostly helping broke her knee cap while taking the dogs out.
Their Lab saw a opossum and took off and she lost her balance and fell over the night before....
Luckily we got all the concrete poured yesterday evening. Who ever has to do it next time isn't going to like it, hopefully it isn't me. I put in 160 lbs of concrete per pole. Bitch better not lean again.

Fence progress so far. The night pics are the finished front. I have since finished the rest of the outer perimeter, but failed to get any good pics.

Pay no attention to that poor pitiful deck. It is my next project.

Oh you're doing the hard fence, I'm just doing side by side. I don't want to see my neighbor's dogs/ Annoying little shits. Always barking when ever we're in the back yard.
My King GS (Stormy) wants to make, the most annoying fucktard, her chew toy. Mine is normally a chill dog, takes a lot to get her to become aggressive, this little shit, she instantly fucking hates.
It may be because it constantly barks at my wife when she does garden work.
A couple of times Stormy slammed into the fence hard enough to break a couple of pickets.

I have two dane/lab mixes, my neighbors have pits. Seems like they forget each other exist until they mutually have something to bark at (the local fox, kittens, armadillos etc.). Then when they hear each other bark, they start barking at each other until they get bored of that.

Temps were in the high 70's here yesterday and Thursday. Way too warm for this time of year. On a countdown for our trip out west - plan is to get there and just enjoy some R&R. No side trips or activities other than renting some ATV's and maybe running up Mt. Lemmon.

I got lucky and got an auger rolled into a deal from my dad's buddy along with my metal fence posts. Life saver as long as the soil isn't full of rock. Only had trouble with two holes and a rock bar solved that problem. I've still had days where I wish I would have paid someone else, it definitely would have been done by now

Augers are a must unless you love back breaking work. I didn't really need one because the holes were already done, just had to make a little deeper and shift a bit for better alignment.
We all know Carpy is afraid of work.....
