Congrats.....hanging light is cheap/easy fix. Good call on later closing date. Gives everyone time to be prepared versus having to bust ass getting stuff done.

2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
Thanks! We figured we would at least be able to secure some additional funding between now and then for some furniture and a new fridge. I'd also like to put aside some funds for the empty property across from the new place. It has been vacant since 2010 when the house burnt to the ground (mortgage is released, I checked
), and my brother works with the land owner. I'm going to see if I can get another 3/4 acre out of this deal (and keep someone from building that close to me).

That's the thing. Along with the oversized 2 car garage, it already has a full 2 bay shop as well! Starting to see why I couldn't pass it up?

Wife had surgery on her hip yesterday to repair some torn tendons. Gonna be a rough several weeks. She's in a brace and on crutches the next 4 weeks and off work until probably October. One thing has been very noticeable the last 2 days .....I make a shitty nurse. Haha

Congrats. They made changes that took effect October '15 that makes thing more annoying overall. I was lucky enough for that to happen in the middle of buying our current house. You will have many duplicate emails of the same questions from different people that are either to you and others or your cc'd in. Also expect to be grilled on finances as they are actually making sure you'll be able to afford the house for at least 5 years iirc

Inspection report done for the house. Nothing too major. Biggest item I saw was the door from the house to the garage was a hollow interior door, doesn't seal and has no threshold. Definitely going to push them to get an exterior door there.

I need to replace both our metal exterior doors on our garage. Both of them are screwed up.

How's your wife doing Tim? She up and moving around?
I have to show up 0530 on Friday for my hand. Hope they don't make me sit all day waiting.

She's still in quite a bit of pain. She's a nurse and hard headed so she doesn't like taking opiates. I get it but I'm exactly opposite of that....I request extra opiates. I tried to tell her that 2 oxycodone and 2 beers and she'll forget she even has a hip.

Pain Meds don't effect me like that. It might be because I was on Morphine for 42 days, then stepped down from that over a yr. Since my legs accident, Hydrocodone stuff is barely an aspirin.
Sucks too, because when something that really hurts and need that stuff it barely subdues the pain level.

Thankfully I'm fairly healthy. What's funny is my wife takes really good care of herself while I run around pounding BBQ and beer down my throat from a couch most of the time. She's had surgery twice while I'm still at zero. When my shit let's loose though it's going to be epic.

3am, hand flexes out of reflex, nerve and pain meds both have worn off. Wonder why I'm up?!?!

Put ice on it, yeah right, I have 1/2" of gauze and wrap on. can't feel shit (any coldness)after 1/2 hour of the bag sitting on it.
