My wife got off work for a few days too...because she tore up her knee at the waterpark this weekend. She goes to the osteo clinic today for an MRI to see the damage.

She won't stay down long, she's just not the type. I'll don the apron for as long as she needs (or as long as she'll let me lol)

4th of July Plans?
I plan on making deer chili, maybe even deer burgers.
Morning plans: Go to range with my son, daughter and her BF and throw some Freedom down range. I need to sight in my 30.06 and AR. Plus to impress upon her BF that I can hit what ever I want.
Evening plans: Grab a bunch of Freedom poppers, boom and light makers and set them off at a friends house.
May even do a burnout in the bird,Last edited by SMWS6TA; 07-01-2019 at 12:19 PM.

I really need to sight in my .300 Blackout AR too. May see if my brother wants to do some pre-fireworks shooting. Hopefully his new schedule doesn't get in the way (shift work is a bummer).
Otherwise, fireworks go boom boom, grilled everything in the tum tum, and probably some spirited driving through windy (wine-dee) park roads.
And, if time permits, car part installations (LED lights on both cars, rear axle and shocks/springs on T/A)

I'm gonna mix it up a little this year and drink beer and BBQ on a river in PA. Oh....wait....that's what I do every year.

Had a good 4th -- we went kayaking in the morning (and beat the heat). Wrenched on the Jeep for several hours and then finally went for a ride in it around 7:30 last night.
