Red- 1997 Camaro
Wanting wider tires on the rear of my 1997 convertible z28
I have a 1997 z28 convertible and will be needing new tires soon. I would like to have 275s up front and 315s on the rear but I don’t want any rubbing issues and don’t want to have to do anything to the bump stops or fenders. What are the biggest tires I could get without any rubbing issues? Also I will be needing new rims so what size should I go with the same all around? Any feedback helps thank you.

You will definitely need new wheels to run a 315 out back. For a 275 front, 315 rear you'll need 9"-9.5" wide wheels up front, 11" in the rear. If you get wheels with the correct offsets (I can't remember what they are at the moment), you SHOULD be able to avoid most rubbing issues. We did have to massage the top of the wheel well on one side of our T/A for 315s, but that was it.
Also, welcome to the site!
