    2005 Ram
    1978 Firebird

Been fighting a gas leak on my ram for a while now. Never would leave a wet spot anywhere, running or not. Just a constant smell of gasoline (when full) and a streak down the side of the tank where it had leaked a little at one point. Ran the tank down to 1/4 or so, and no more smell nor fresh streaking. My preliminary guess was a bad pump gasket or a split retaining ring. I've had the box off now for a few weeks, and still no sign of a fuel leak, and I filled the tank up after I took it off. Few days ago, the smell came back. Started looking around and there was finally some moisture around the retaining ring. Yesterday, I knocked the ring loose to get a better look at everything, and, well, no amount of o-ring or retaining ring will fix my problem.

The pump housing under the lock ring appears to have stressed/split. Gas was leaking (barely) through the cracks you see. The o-ring partially sealed where the cracks are, but it was still leaking through. So much for a cheap fix.

What started out as power washing the gutters turns into power washing the house, driveway too. #Ihatespring

Does anyone know of any good cleaners for concrete that will remove oil stains? The power washer I'm using has a 3100 psi rating and it's knocked off 70% of the stains but it's still too noticeable for me.
