Light Switch Bulb
I pulled the old steering column out and installed a new used one last night. While I had the instrument cluster bezel off, I checked to see if there was a bulb on the Light Switch that could be replaced. I found one, but it is very small and looks like it comes in one piece. Does anyone know where I can get some of these? I have called the stealership and they say they can't get them. I have been to AutoZone and O'Reilly's, but no go. I've even looked online and can't come up with anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are those the ones that the bulbs are able to be removed from the sockets, or are they soldered in?

I think they are soldered in. I will dig the old one out of the trash and try to pull out the bulb and see what happens. I'll get back with you on what I find out.

I found the needle in the haystack. Dug through the trash and found the bulb. With a magnifying glass, I saw the bulb with leads folded around the plastic bulb housing. I got a pick, and pulled the wires away from the housing. I then straightened them out and wahlah, the bulb came right out.Next challenge will be to find out the type and wattage of the bulb. Any ideas or successful research, let me know! I'll be keeping my housing. I did find a place on eBay that sells the complete unit for like $2.99. 93-02 Firebird, Camaro and Trans Am Headlight Switch Light Bulb(253697217645) Hope this helps!

I forgot to mention the name of the company that sells the complete bulb and housing as a unit. AudioXpress. Thanks
