possible the BCM solder joints are weak or cracked. Any other signs like windows, radio not working right?

Have another issue i replaced my running lights sockets but didn't put the three wires back the same way(I think)now when I put left bunker on it stays steady lite right side makes the radio and odometer flash on and off the dash light's are on even with the switch in the off position still all screwed up even after pulling the bulbs.shouldn't it be asking like burnt bulbs with them removed and not matter the way the wires are connected?

If I recall, the security system electronics are all in the BCM, not the PCM. The VATS bypass is the only way I know of to bypass the system. However, with a schematic you probably could locate the interrupt circuits and bypass them.

It's possible that the wire in the key ignition is broken.
2 options to fix it are the VATs bypass or replace the cylinder.

i did the vats bypass years ago
im going to have to check the resistors,
the funny thing is when it doesnt start and the security is on i plug in my hand held scanner and start looking for codes which thier never is and just start scrolling and clearing then eventually it goes out and starts.im not sure if im actually doing anything or it goes out and starts after a certine amount of time.

Jeff and I have the tech manuals. I think his are digital. I'm still learning how to read some of the sections, electronics is the tough section.

I enjoy the electrical stuff -- especially tracking down the gremlins that pop up from time to time.
