I like those NGK Iridiums. I noticed an improvement in fuel economy after installing them (got about 40 more miles out of every tank).

Seems to running really well with them. I got lucky and found the plugs on ebay that someone bought and never used for $32 shipped and the wires for $25 shipped.
Took some extra washer to get full seal on AIR blockoff plates. Kind of annoying.
I boxed up the ecm and it goes to post office today.2001 Trans Am Vert

I was going to do copper, but for the cost, I could not pass up the Iridiums.

Mine also uses the TR6 right now. When I was stock, I had TR5s as well. It was the TR5s that I noticed the improved economy. Went from being empty after ~280 miles to ~320 miles. This was with every single tank of gas. Once I put in the TR5s, I never needed to fill up prior to 300 miles. On all the other plugs, it was always 280ish when I needed to fill. I'm currently running copper plugs, and I'm filling up between 265 and 280.

I'm down to 200-230ish that is because of my heavy damn foot mostly. Mostly interstate driving on work days but on weekends lots of city/stop/go driving.
I've yet to take it further than 80 miles at one time. I've been wanting to just fill up, point it on the interstate and see just how far it will go on without stopping.
With 4.10 gears my rpm is about 2600-2800 in 6th gear at 80mph.

If I get past the highway commuting days i will be going with some lower gears, but for now the puny 2.73 get the mpg ok.

So the car has a few other things going on as of late. It got bumped and needs some paint work/repair and my buddy that happened to create the issue owns a GM dealership and sprung for a Smoothie-Q hood for it as well as making sure it is all fixed properly. Also going to have some tint on the windows and the AC and alignment checked out since it seems not to blow as cold and the tires feather lightly on the front. I also am up to 4 sets of wheels n tires for the thing. the Cup wheels in black chrome, the stock with snow tires, a set of 17s off a BMW and a set of the chrome 16 inch stock ABS wheels.
Hood shipped Thursday so i should be taking car in shortly for them to fix it up. Been along 10 weeks waiting.

Bummer about the paint/dent, but then, it seems like you'll be better off after all is said and done than beforehand, so can't complain too much there.

He almost cried when he told me he hit it. When we were young n dumb he was piloting my 96 Z as it hit a tree midair sideways and then he hits the car he took a loss on to get me into, so he has gone above and beyond to do this right. I tried to get him to give me the new Z06 he just bought in exchange, but will settle for all the lil stuff he is doing the car I have

Well I got her back.
Smoothie Q Hood - vents painted black
Dent fixed up.
Paint for hood an repair blended then full clear on car.
Tinted the windows.
AC system refreshed w leak test and charge
Alignment done cause the tires on 18s were chewed up due to it being out.
So i got the stock 16s chrome wheels wrapped in some tires, but they are already back off and the snow tires on silver stockers are on.
Stuck some synthetic oil and a wix oil filter in her Monday and tossed in a Spectre cleanable filter, but could not find the dremel to do the FRAM. Ordered an elctric cutout for the exhaust for her Christmas present.
But anyway....

Appreciate. Hoping to get the front plate insert painted and installed asap. For some reason it bugs me not to have it.

Well the wife popped out baby number 4 and I got a couple weeks off. Got bored in the garage and used a $2.50 can of gold plastidip I picked up to try out an idea. I had these BMW wheels and brand new tires listed for months and never even got an offer for what the tires cost, so I figured why not. If I hate it, I can paint them black and some high school kid will buy em. Plus i just get bored with wheels, hence having four sets for the car currently.

I think the color combo is quite nice. That gold probably wouldn't work with every color of car, but it really looks good on yours.
