Did I win or did I lose?
I went to the track this weekend and raced a couple times. First was against a 80's TA or firebird, well I killed him out of the hole and ran like a black man, but he caught me at the 1/8 mile and passed me running a 11.55 and me running 12.70. Next race I went up against a foxbody. I got him out of the hole and stayed in front untill the finish line and I got the green light comfirming that I won. My time was 11.77 at 118 and his was 11.3x. So I beat him to the finish line but he got there quicker than I did and the timeslip proves it. This seems kind of odd to me.

You just simply cut a better light than he did thats all. Although he would have had to of been sleeping big time to still lose with a car that was clearly 1/2 faster,,,,,,,, LOL.

Yeah I think they call that a hole shot, when his e.t. is quicker than yours but you still win because your reaction time was so much better.
Vote for Pedro.

I dont know it just popped in my head and sounded good so I used it. And I thought black people were pretty fast runners anyway. But when I ran the 11.77 and he ran the 11.3x my reaction time was .031 his was .459 and my 60' was 1.64 & his was 1.55

Wait, so this was all the same trip to the track, and one run you ran 12.70, then you ran 11.77?
Either way, nice runs, and nice job gettin a "whole-shot win"Last edited by cavpat; 11-13-2007 at 05:26 AM.

LoL. I was wondering if someone was gonna notice that and say something. The first was N/a and the second was on the bottle. My best run on the juice is 11.58 and this time it was 11.77, but the weather was alittle different then. My averge on motor is 12.80's.

He has a faster car but in the end you won, if that were a street race you would have taken a low 11 second car lol.

Thats why i like street racing, you need to be on your shit otherwise like that guy learned you can loose to a slower car, but at the track technically he won.

NO at the track "Technically" the Camaro won.
Under no circumstance does a race mean - getting their last wins.
He may have a better time, but that isn't what a "race is" you aren't racing for a time, you are racing to be at the end first.
His car is quicker- but you are the better driver.

Yeah but when you go to the track with a street car, your trying to see what your car runs. Rarely does anyone ask for your reaaction time they just wanna know what you ran and your mph and your 60ft time. None of those have anything to do with reaction time. Yes he beat a faster car down the track good job

Hmmm I agree/ but Disagree, Everyone does ask what your car runs and not the Reaction time. But if you cut a bad reaction time in heads up racing or in bracket racing your chances of winning are slim to none. You gotta be on your game or else you loose, Street racing is totally different than track racing. Thats why I like track racing better, Not always the man with the faster car wins.
