What years will be an exact replacement for a 2002 T-56?
Hello,
I am looking to replace the T-56 in my 2002 Camaro Z28. I know they used the T-56 for a long time in the Camaro, but I know they changed to the Z06 clutch around 2001. So, would I need to make sure to get an 01-02 T-56 to replace my T-56?
Also, were the gear ratios the same from 98-02?
One more thing, is there anything special I need to tell the shop that is installing the transmission as far as settings stops and all that go?

You need a 98 to 02 T-56. Gear ratios were the same from 94 to 02, with 93 having a higher first gear. I can't think of anything specific that you should tell the shop to do that they should already know. Do you have a aftermarket shifter w/ stops?
