2008 Caliber SRT 4- 1998 Z28/ 1993 Talon awd
They come with the toyota celica's gts 1.8 liter 4 6M 190 hp and weigh just over 2000 pounds. They also have a supercharged version with 220 hp and another one with 250 hp. So be ready they are quick little cars. Also one of the best handling cars in the world.

I am sure they can out handle and stop a hell of a lot faster but a drag race i think would be interesting.

their kinda dead in the top end... all made for acceleration and quick turns...and quick exits out of them turns.... in a straight out drag race, it'd be seriously interesting...

i keep seeing them all over the place, not bad looking cars.... but it would be a great race to see one against an ls1

not true, they have a great top end. I graduated with a friend that's dad owned a 04 or 05 elise. They're 1980 lbs with close to 200 hp. They're pretty damn quick, the one i was in had a "warm up" redline at 6000 rpms and after teh car was warm he could shift a 9 or 9.5k. That's just sick. (non rotary too, of course). My friend was driving my TA behind me when i was going for a ride in the Elise. We didn't line up, (i won't let my friend race my car duh) but my friend said he kept up right behind the elise til 110 when we stopped.
Stock for stock in a drag race it would definitely be close. definitely a drivers race. As far as handling... I don't think stock f bodies know what that is

that anoying thing that the f-body's weren't really made for lol,
the Lotus's And the Noble's were on the top 5 list in car and driver's "best handling cars in the world" i dont quite remember the other 3, i remember those 2 b/c the noble is my favorite super car and the Lotus's b/c i've driven a couple and i wasn't very surprised. The slowest current lotus's do a 4.8 for a 0-60. what do stock F-Body's do?

they do just about the same in stock form I think... 5.2 for the Autos...
the show TOP GEAR...named the Lotus Exige the Best Handling Car In the World...and then they said...EVER... and then proceded to prove it by out manuvering a Apache attack Helicopter who was trying to get a Lock on the Lotus...in a huge ass Airport Runway

Monterey Maroon Metalic- 2000 Z28
They are weekend cars only, a real track terror though. I watched the Top Gear where Jeremy Clarkson drove the wheels off of the Exige, they are awesome cars. I have only seen a couple around town, bright orange and green. 200bhp is a lot in a sub 2000 lb car!

Lotus's are considered as "supercars" b/c of their handling(4.8 for a 0-60 isn't that bad either) and you can buy a brand new one for 50k, you cant buy many supercars for 50k, i guess you can buy a Z06 for 60-70k but there obviously not known for their handling but for their 0-60.
But i would say that i would rather buy a Z06 over a lotus any day b/c im even intiminated by their looks(exterior) its a type of car that nobody wants to fuck with but a lotus looks like a toy, not saying they dont look good, but not intiminating like the vette, which is a big factor for me!

Red- 2000 Trans Am
Not to mention modding a z06 would be easier and you would have more options, lsx cars have a great after market world, lotus im guessing shits expensive and limited
