man, not trying to bash you but when a cobra hits at ther right gear, it will pull so hard. there is a video of 460rwhp cobra vs 900rwhp supra video, everytime they punch, cobra punts an instant 1 car or 1,5 car on that supra and holds it for a couple seconds and then supra fly bys.
my car puts down 450rwtq right at 2500rpm. and 478rwtq at 3500rpm. so when i do 45mph roll run in second gear, i am right around 3500rwhp which means when i hit it, it puts down 478rwtq that is crazy power right there and we both know, you don't put your all power down when you hit the gas.
simply, turbo has the top end and cobras have the low end power. however, a 3000lbs 380fwhp srt-4 couldn't pull on me up top and i was keeping pulling away from him. cobras have great top end also. i have raced many people and i beat most of them on 3rd and 4th gear. I have been saying cobras have great top end.

Yes it definitely helps. That is a big reason when I upgraded my turbo I got only slightly bigger than stock so I still had a huge torque spike. When you go big.. you lose that completely and you have to rely on top end.
Regardless, you arent making up 200+whp with that loss haha
When I used to race Cobras Id always make sure I was right at 4000rpm so Id have the most minimal lag possible because they took off like bats out of hell right from the start. I wish I had a vid of the last Cobra I raced before I sold my car it was badass.

Regardless though, no 4 banger with a big turbo is ever going to come close to matching the throttle response and instantaneous torque of a natually aspirated or Supercharged V8.
Ok, but that's not what you were saying before.

Umm...same idea.
I said: "Good point. No waiting for the turbo to spool or for the motor to get into the powerband. It just goes like hell as soon as you mash the throttle."
Then I said: "Regardless though, no 4 banger with a big turbo is ever going to come close to matching the throttle response and instantaneous torque of a natually aspirated or Supercharged V8."
Either way, you when you hit the throttle you have to wait for the turbo, whether that be the start of the race or every time you shift. Turbos don't magically hold boost between shifts, and you don't get instantaneos boost when you open the throttle from a roll, either. Its called laaag, not that hard to understand.

neat. i didn't see much lag between shifts without it. with it, i saw no less than 10 psi through the shifts.

Yeah, that was my first day with it. I can use it much better now, generally I can keep it above 20psi now. Hence why I kept pulling my distance back when racing that yellow cobra, everytime he would shift I would gain my distance back because I don't have any shift lag.

No, its not powershifting. When I depress the clutch at WOT the top switch engages and makes a rev limiter at 100rpms lower then where I pushed the clutch.
This keeps the throttle plate open so I don't lose boost and don't have shift lag.
Onward to your next excuse Wesman.
