Light Pewter Metallic- 2001 Camaro SS
01 Camaro SS vs. 06 WRX STI vs. ?? 350 Z
Since everyone is brining up their racing issues...
For the first time in a long time... Both the WRX and 350 Z are parked downtown with me and my SS... We all want to go for a race at lunch but we dont really know where to go... the city has tons of shit ass streets and I would LOVE to do it on a highway because I know the power the SS has from a roll...
My SS has all the SLP intake shit you can imagine, SLP Y Pipe, and SLP LoudMouth...
The STI has a new down pipe and exhaust system... I beat him before this exhaust by about 2 car lengths and he had a bad launch...
Im not worried about the 350Z unless we find a magical road course in the middle of downtown Chicago... In which case, both cars would eat my lunch...
How does anyone think this is gonna go?-Nick

I agree...I'll take an American V8 any day over a rice burner.

You should probably roast them from any spot. Only trouble might be a 0-60 run against the STI. If those things launch at high rpms they can fly off that line and I would expect he'd shutdown before you start pulling so he can claim victory. That's how I usually see it with the rice!

rice sucks and it pisses me the F8ck off.... Where do they get the sumption?
I had a rice rev his motor at me, and act like he wanted to race at a light... I just shook my head and laughed at him.
It was an older accord, with a fart can, vinyl graphics, +10hp wing & ground effects, etc...
I'm thinking.. Dude... You don't know shit.
Z28 badge on a newer body camaro = LS1
Cam noise emitted from LS1 vehicle= Don't F*ck with me
Smell of horsepower b/c of no cats= REALLY, YOU SHOULDNT" F*CK WITH ME.
c6 rims & F1 supercar tires= I put power to the ground

I will admit that there are some people who are cool you drive ricers. I like to see really nice built Evo's with cool people driving them. These people just love racing like anyone else BUT have respect for other cars. It's the POS's that cruise around in a slow ass car (non evo/sti) and try to start something. they usually have one of their buddies in the car next to them.

I feel you man. I see people eying my car. They see the red and black SS emblem and dual exhaust. Ok so you know it's not a V6. My exhaust screams at you, so you must know it's not just exhaust...I must have some longtubes under there. Then we get to the stop light and my car starts shaking...plus I have nittos...It's crazy and I just have to think that these people are so ignorant and I just laugh it off.

I think that STI is going to surprise you. You'll win, but they can be pretty brutal.

I will admit that the STI has power. I will even admit that it isn't a bad lookin car, when done right. I will, however, always get annoyed at some assbag who goes out and buys his power off the floor, and knows nothing about his car, or works his own power into it. What satisfaction is their if you are not one with your car and gave it that shaking, scaring, badass, rumble, when sitting at a light.

as for ricers, everyday i gain a little more respect for the fast ones, so that puts them right there with soccer moms in mini vans lol
