LS1 in 69 Cutlass Convert
I am finally working on this project again and as usual have questions. I have notched the crossmember and am fabricating frame mounts to accomodate the Firebird LS1 motor-mounts. Do you know if 2 long motor-mount bolts are parallel with crank and output shaft? The Firebird frame mounts have larger bolt holes than the motor-mounts do for the long 1/2 " bolts. Is this intended to be loose or are there bushings? Does anyone know of semi-ridgid motor mounts? How much clearance is needed for motor to torque around? Does anyone know a resource for dimension between frame mounts? And tranny crossmember location and elevation in relation to frame mounts?
Thanks
