If he was cammed, with exhaust and headers, with a stall, he is makeing 400rwhp compared to you 310-320rwhp and he has a stall that is good for damn near 1/2 secodn in the 1/4mile on its own, if he has those mods he needs to make sure he has all 8 spark plugs in cause he is only running on 6 of his 8 cylinders.

You can however do a 90/90 combo if you get an LS6 intake chopped and swapped for a 90/90 setup, it's a helluva lot cheaper than a FAST intake, retains stock appearance, and is only about 3hp difference, until about 6400rpm, then the FAST will start making more, you have to decide if it's worth it though.

How do you "chop" as LS6 intake?

They chop the end off and somehow affix the 90mm port to it, not sure if they plastic weld or how they do it, but the numbers are nice and the price is right.

Also not sure if you have to send them your intake first, or exactly how the swap works.
Personally I would prefer to pay a core charge, until I sent them my intake, 'cause right now she's my DD.
