    Is a PowerProgrammer enough?

I noticed there are a couple of PC based programmers(HP tuner, and the like). But they seem kind of complicated for my application. And, I know PowerProgrammers are simple. But will I see a good gain like I would with a PC type program?

NO. I just bought a wide band and Hp tuners for my V6 firebird.

most of it depends on your final goals for the car. IMO if you plan to stick with bolt ons a good handheld like the Vinci or Predator ain't a terrible way to go. I gained 3 tenths in my stock gto when I had the predator on there and it made my auto shift like a dream. Mrr23 knows the vinci hand helds inside and out so maybe he'll chime in. If you don't plan on a cam or anything like that I think a handheld would do you just fine. You won't get the same tune out of a handheld but the predator at least has a little flex to it so you can get a pretty decent tune out of it.

before you run out and buy a predator talk to mrr23.....he knows the vinci programmers very well and can give you a good comparison. I've personally never used the vinci so I have no experience with them.

I see predators go in the forsale section here for ~$250 so you can save a few bucks by buying used.
