1998/2002 F-Body turbo kit for sale
I have a Pro Turbo System Single turbo kit for a 1998/2002 F body with the LS1 engine
It is on my Car right now and running
This kit does allow you to keep your AC
It does require you to relocate the Alternator to the Passenger side head and I am including the brackets for this
This Kit is listed for $3900 new without turbo or intercooler it includes the
Precision GTQ67 Q trim turbo rated to 790 FWHP $1200 UPGRADE
Turbo Smart ULTRA GATE - 38mmWastegate $100 Upgrade
Also included is an 800 HP front mount intercooler $1200 upgrade
All hot side tubing has been coated with a semi-gloss silver coating rated to 1600*
All cold side tubing has a nice grey coating on it
All the hot side piping has high quality V-Band clamps
It includes a custom made Alternator Relocation Bracket for your stock alternator
As the alternator included with the kit was not as good as the stock one IMHO
I will also include this alternator and bracket if you want it at no charge as I have no use for it
It is smaller and has a 160 AMP rating
However it ran rather hot and at idle it did not turn fast enough to keep up with the electric fans
Pro Turbo Systems claims to have made 980 RWHP with this same kit and a T76 GTS turbo
If you want to take the AC of your car you can run up to a T88 T04 flange turbo and make over 1000 RWHP
This totals right at $6400.00 + shipping
I am asking $5500 + Shipping for the complete kit
Anyone who is interested in seeing the kit on the car can send me a PM
I also have a TON of photos if you want to see them as well
Or you can call me at 704 363 93402002 White Z 28 former 6 speed car, APS twin turbo, 4L80E,
9 inch Moser rear 3.50 gear,
some other stuff, it is slow

Black- 2000 SS
Do a search. PLENTY of info on this in the forced induction section but...
-Forged Pistons- low compression. 9:1 is ideal for the street without losing too much low-end torque.
-Forged Rods
-Stock crank is fine but you can do a forged crank if you want to up the cubes.
-Good idea to do the timing chain and port the oil pump while you're in there.
-Comp 918 Valve Springs
-ARP Head Studs to hold the heads down
-ARP Main Studs to keeps the mains from walking
-ARP Rod Bolts to keep the rods from flying apart
-Hardened Pushrods
-Motron 60lb/hr fuel injectors
-Walbro 340 Intake Fuel Pump
If you already have ported heads and LS6 intake thats good too to keep the boost down.

I ran this setup on my compleatly stock engine for a little over 2.5 years with no problems
I was pretty consertive on the boost till right at the end
ran right around 6 PSI and made 475/560 RWHP/RWTQ
just like this it ran a best of 11.70 at 120 MPH
the only thing that I did was 60 LB injectors and 340 fuel pumpLast edited by Darren P; 04-30-2007 at 03:20 PM.
