They've got a kickass stadium, too. They have a ring of purple seats where the elevation reaches 1 Mile High, it's really cool.
yup, my old apartment was within walking distance to Coors field, I would walk down there and buy me a $4 "rock pile" seat...and then procede to spend $40 on beer and food lol.

my ex-father-in law had season tickets for the first 6 years. I've been to hundreds of rockies games, incuding when they used to play at the OLD Mile High staduim the first couple of years, and then the Blake Street Bombers years, Gallaraga, Bichette, Larry Walker...thos USED to be the days...these are the new days!!
I was going ape shit last night. It's nice to see something better then a sub par season finally!

Haha, I used to have a hat that said "Blake Street Bombers"...I never knew what it meant until a little while ago.

Bichette was my favorite player for a long time. What ever happened to him?

I just like how everytime he went up to the plate he looked like he was going to have a stroke from being so damn nervous.

Well, I believe that the majority of the fans at the game are true fans. Naturally the media will only show those that do not know the names. BFD!

I went Saturday, my neighbor ordered the tickets in August, before the streak.
I went Sunday, it was Military appreciation day, and all four branches where there, marched onto the field for the National Anthem. Then stayed to watch them win that and see the score board show the Phillies won!!!! WOW! what two great games.

I had a chance to get tickets for the Monday night playoff, but know I could not make it three in a row. I was so damn tired after Sunday's game.

    Watched it on TV.

1st - The "DOUBLE" in the bottom of the 7th, was a Home Run!!! Game should have ended in the 9th, 7-6 Rockies.

But hey, it was nerve racking going 10-13!!! and being down 8-6 sucked, but I watch and kept rooting and talking to the TV.
I was Jumping up and down like crazy when Matt Holliday scored!!!!

    Go Rockies!!! Kill the Fills!!!!
