I believe General Motors has some stuff listed in their catalog for Corvette convertible tops.

I use the scotch guard cleaner and protector and it turns out better than anything else I've ever tried. It repels water when it hits the surface. I recommend it.

pewter- 2001 Trans Am WS6 Conv.
i don't know what you guys have heard but i have owned convertibles ever since i was 16 and nothing else. I have only had to replace one top and when I did the installer (professional convertible top shop) told me never to add anything to my tops especially cloth tops. The top needs to breath and putting stuff on it like armor all or scotch guard just makes it brittle in the long run. so I never put anything on mine.
By the way that stuff that you have a link to is for vinyl tops. Those do need protection but mostly from the sun.

Arctic White- 2001 Camaro convertible
303 Fabric guard... it's better than scotchguard(I've used both). They have a cleaner as well.
