99 Durango for winter car or something different?
what do you guys think? Almost 100K miles, repaired tranny few thousands miles ago, overall pretty good shape. I used to work with the seller. He wanted $7K for it a month ago, I'm hoping he'll go lower now.
Here are some pics

I got a 99 durango 5.9 4wd all options right around 100k for $6,000. I bought it in sacramamento. It was a great suv lots of room and did real good in the snow. Be careful though they have a high rollover tendency. I rolled mine on I-5 about 5 times at 70mph. It held up really well and i did not get a scratch.

sounds liek a good deal, i have a 99 dakota for a winter beater.. awesome truck!
just make sure you check it over first, they are bad for worn out front end parts. Cant vouch for the tranny part yet (knock on wood)

trannys suck bad in durangos, also plan on spending a lot of time at the gas station. They suck the gas down like a your prom date sucking down tequilla.

Looks like I'm getting that 99 Durango. KBB is $7700, I'm paying $6300. More pics after I pick it up. Oh and it is a 5.9L
