true duals W/O x-pipe
Hi all. I've got a TSP true dual system and I'm wondering if there's any reason I shouldn't bolt the muffler directly to the headers. Is there actually a reason to put the x-pipe on too?

Clearance? So the x-pipe some how holds the muffs up higher?

No, but the mufflers are thicker than the x-pipe.. and there isn't extra room right there...

without some kind of crossover, you won't be getting full performance out of the exhaust

Yea, I could tell when I was running it with open headers...it just wasn't quite right.
