Simple. Post how many gallons of WATER a 94 z28 gas tank would hold. Stock, by the way.

It would depend on what time of day it is.
Water weighs 2.33 pounds more than gasoline per gallon so it is more dense.....heat will cause the gasoline to expand at a greater rate than the water.
Early morning will take more fuel than late in the day.
( capacity of the 94 Camaro tank is 15.5 gallons )

the amount of liquid a tank will hold is equal to the volume of the tank, no matter what temp etc..
now the mass that a gas tank can hold is dependent on the density thus temperature etc...

I gased up this weekend. I was on empy tank for 10-12 miles, so I put in 15.6 gallons.
so i'd say 15.8-15.9 gal full tank.
