The bigger the exhaust the more power you lose in the lower RPM's.
Upper RPM's the torque and HP will pick up.
Not on the right computer, but I can post up a dyno chart later. Capped against open...power is down until 4200 RPM's where it picks up pretty good.

Right, I meant with that exhaust system. Not in general. So you're saying if I put a 3.5in catback on my TA I'll lose backpressure?

It won't be quite as much loss as open headers but damn close.

Probably wouldn't see much of a loss over what you currently have. If nothing else, you will probably gain a little down low power.

The more open it is, the more it will flow in the upper RPM's. But you give up lower end power. Normally isn't much though.

Well while I have your attention..quick question. Last night DJ and I were messing around and we floored it on a 30 punch. I floored it......and nothing happened for more than a second, then it grabbed and ran. Tranny slippage? Stock a4

You need a built tranny bro. I have a stock tranny and it used to do that before I had the tranny rebuilt last week.

Sounds like it.
Sounds like you run really close to DJ in terms of speed, I would guess that stocker isn't liking it too much.

Well I can't exactly let the car have a bad tranny, have to get it taken care of. Better this week when I can still drive it, then to get stuck out in Denton next weekend.

Now that the 94 is gone if any of you break down at the track I have a spot in my parking lot for anyone that needs it (only about 5 miles from the track).
